Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

Agile Day Twin Cities aims to connect experts and practitioners alike in a safe space to respectfully exchange ideas. All attendees, speakers, volunteers, and staff are expected to adhere to the following values that comprise our Code of Conduct:

Inclusion

We are a diverse group of agilists and welcome individuals regardless of ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion or other personal attributes. We therefore also welcome their thoughts and ideas without judgment

Respect

We encourage discussion and healthy debate, so at times conflicting ideas may occur throughout the conference. Remember to be respectful of others and be thoughtful in how you communicate with them.

Safety

We want each attendee to feel safe at all times during the conference. If at any time you are concerned for yours or others’ safety based on someone else’s actions or behavior, let a staff member or volunteer know so we can assist you.

If you are having issues with someone else’s behavior:

Firmly, yet respectfully, approach the situation to try to resolve the issue. If it is safe and if it will help the situation and potentially future incidents, explain what was offensive or disrespectful.

If you are still having trouble, alert a staff member of the situation and we will assist you.

Overall, we want everyone to have a productive conference, and the Code of Conduct provides a strong base from which we can openly share ideas and ensure a positive experience for all participants.
